LOCUS FESTIVAL
Locus Festival is held every summer in the heart of the Itria Valley, between Locorotondo and the surrounding Masserie.
Founded in 2005, the festival has grown into one of the most acclaimed events on the Italian and European music scene, thanks to a program that blends indie, electronic, hip hop, soul, and contemporary jazz, featuring both Italian and international artists.
The 2026 edition of the festival will take place from August 7 to August 15, 2026, with the main concerts hosted at Masseria Ferragnano.
The festival mainly unfolds during the evening hours, with the venue opening in the late afternoon and live performances generally starting after sunset. Alongside the main concerts, Locus also features DJ sets, special events, and activities spread throughout the area.
One of the festival’s most distinctive elements is its setting: ancient olive trees, trulli, and the rural landscapes of the Itria Valley become an integral part of the experience, turning the festival into an immersive event where music and place merge seamlessly.
The result is a festival with a strong contemporary identity that remains deeply connected to Apulian culture, attracting an international audience every year.
